How do you convert data entry Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH) into words per minute (WPM)?

I do data entry and our system gives stats in Keystrokes per hour and I average 15,000 - 18,000 KPH but I don't know how to convert that into words per minute to know my typing speed.

How do you convert data entry Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH) into words per minute (WPM)?
In the US, the conversion is:





keystrokes per hour / 300 = words per minute





So that would be 50 to 60 words per minute. That's a nice speed if you're running like that all day.
Reply:It depends on how long each word is. There is no direct comparison.
