Are there any home-based data entry companies that are legit?

I was thinking about doing some data-entry work at home part time for some extra money, but all the listings I have found (on craigslist) sound either fishy or outright scams. Does anyone work for one of these companies? What's the catch? Please help!

Are there any home-based data entry companies that are legit?
They are all scams. Usually its a "carrot in front of the horse" trick where they keep selling you books and training materials and when its all said and done, you know how to do "the business" but you soon discover that there is no need for online data entry. Look at it this way- If I was running a company and I needed someone to do data entry, the only way I could get it to you is to ENTER it on the computer and email it to you.. but then the work would have already been done.

Anything that sounds too good to be true often is not true. They have plenty of lawyers and teams of people who know how to walk the line between being "legal" and separating you from your money.
Reply:Here's one that's not a scam and it's a Proven Formula at http://www.mywayoutonline.com/ access code 108306! It is a new division of a billion-dollar international company that is listed on the New York Stock exchange. Keep in mind however, not all businesses are legit....but yet there are some out there that prey on those looking for a serious business.

Almost every business requires a start up fee because you're purchasing products or resources/business tools to get you started in your business. As with ANY business you look at, DO check them out with the BBB (better business bureau) for legitimacy, ratings, complaints and praises, etc. Get the book "The Business School" by Robert Kiyosaki and read about his cash flow quadrant and other ideas/suggestions about how to make it in your business. Zig Ziggler’s "Over the Top" is another excellent book as well!

Good luck on your endeavor!
