Is there any real data entry jobs out there?

I'm a mother of 3 and looking to work from home.So I can stay with my kids. I was wonder if there are any data entry jobs that were not scams? If you have any info. please help.

Reply:Data entry jobs (as well as online survey jobs) have had a lot of bad press as there have been a lot of scammy companies taking advantage of people's desire to make some extra cash.





However there are in fact some legitimate data entry jobs as well as survey jobs which can earn you some decent spare cash or even a steady income although I doubt if you could get rich from doing it.

Reply:I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Its been updated yesterday to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.





So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. Reply:they do have jobs like this but your right on most of them being scams, these days companys outsource so they save a ton of money by getting the work done overseas for way cheaper. i wont lie i have my own buisness and i too have chosen outsoucring for data input but ya hopefully something will come up!
Reply:This is better than data entry and free. In researching hundreds of home business opportunities prior to leaving the workforce, I found very few that did not make me very nervous. The few people (3% or so) who make money, make it off of those who sign up and fail or from "get started for $ fees". Look for programs where the profit is not based on people just joining. I finally went with a company that was totally free. I get to make money while supporting a charitable organization. If this interests you at all, please contact me.....I do not make any money when you join for free. If not, I hope you find what you are looking for and that it is everything you imagined it to be.
Reply:Be an independent programmer. Select from hundreds of projects outsourced from various parts of the world which suits to your skill and work. Fix u r costing before starting the project and get it paid thru safe escrow after successfully completing the project.


Remember all you need to have is skills and hard work.
