Does anyone here have a job with a home based business, like surveys on line or data entry?

I am wondering how you find a reputable business to work for , and how you check their history , how much work you can get for home based data entry, surveys on line etc... Does anyone have experience with these or any others? Thanks

I recently joined a program called TOPS...You get an affiliate website and make money when people click links that are on your site...It's great because you can access a forum of all TOPS members who will help you make your site successful, you don't just get some e-book when you join, like others I checked out. Successful members are quite willing to help you when you ask for help through the forum. I like that this is an interactive process...I'm not exactly a techie...If you want the link to this site, you can send me a message...they technically don't allow us to put our links on this forum. I personally know it can be frustrating because there are so many scams out there. Oh yeah, when I was looking for an online business, I found a forum at geekvillage.com helpful, many scams are talked about there. If you message me, I will send you the link, but promise I won't e-mail you again, unless you ask me to. Good luck!
Reply:THESE ARE ALL SCAMS; STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!
Reply:Most work at home jobs are sales based unless you have a special skill such as web design or programming.

There is a website where real jobs are posted everyday, where companies are looking for people who want to telecommute.

Some of them require you live near a certain area just in case they want to meet with you in person periodically.

They are all real jobs where you must send a resume, have some type of special skill, and most likely have experience.

. Here are some of the jobs listed

Email or Phone-based CSR

Ad Sales Pros - Top Gun Talent

Webmaster / Designer

Phone PRO Needed for Successful Entrepreneur!

Professional Telemarketing

Reply:Well, let me tell you about the part I do know about. I've been paid surveys online for about 4 years now. I wouldn't really call it a home based business--more a way to earn pizza money in your spare time (I get about $20 a month--that only takes a few hours, so it's about minimum wage, but you're not going to be able to qualify for enough surveys to make a living off this--even a minimum wage living. I take every survey I qualify for that hasn't filled up by the time I get it).

Still, if your interested, I've put some tips on how to avoid scams on the following site (cause while there are a bunch of good legitimate survey sites, there are even more scummy ones out ther):

You can also find some links there to some surveys sites I've taken part in and actually been paid through.
Reply:There is this great site called dormcheck. It pays you to post your opinion and it also pays you to post pictures. There is also cash boosters that will reward you with 30$. It even pays you a certain amount for logging in. And if you think that is cool, they also pay you to use a web search bar in their site. If you get the correct word, they pay you a prize. They also have daily contests that reward you with some good money. So why not try it. Its free, and dependable. And people have even posted a picture of their check that they had recieved.

P.S. The more you post at this site, the more you earn. If you also referal your friends to the site you will gain extra money every time that they post. It is progressing, and soon there might possibly be a pay to click section within the site. I am sure you will earn some extra money.

Here is the site:

Reply:Hi Bethy! It certainly can be a challenge to find a reputable company to work for at home now-a-days, but let me help simplify your search. I enrolled with a company that is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, have been featured on the show 60 minutes, they offer free benefits to their brokers, and they also offer two different at home positions! You can check their history by finding a better business bureau website, that is even easier! If you are interested in further details, simply click my avatar image, which will take you to their website, review the website, and request an interview! It is a synch! Best of luck to you dear!
Reply:I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.

Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment.

And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
Reply:Hey check out this site
Reply:Great questions.

Do your due diligence as there are a lot of bad ones out there.
Reply:The problem with a lot of survey programs is that they end up clogging your email account with all kinds of offers. After a while it's hard to figure out which surveys are paid and which ones are not. Paid to surf websites sometimes don't pay either.

See if this offer fits your needs. It's 100% online, ethical and proven. Full training, 1 on 1 mentoring and support are provided. It's NOT a GET RICH QUICK deal. No Face to Face Selling is required or Phone Calls or Harassing Friends with Health Juice, merchandise or home demonstration parties. Average people who have failed and failed are earning excellent incomes with this one. Best wishes to you in your quest for a home based business.
