Does anybody know where I can get an online data entry position?

I've heard of data entry jobs on line, but you actually have to PAY to get one. That sounds fishy. Anyhow, I would like a simple "job" on line...not a money making scheeme. I already fill out surveys for a little extra cash, but I'm looking for an actual job. I also do medical transcription (but I don't have a job in it yet). Could anybody give me some advice or good sites?

Reply:my mom works at UNCW doing this. If you can get a job at a school you can probably work at home. My mom picks up her batch then goes home and does it.

Keep in mind however, not all businesses are legit....but yet there are some out there that prey on those looking for a serious business.


Almost every business requires a start up fee because you're purchasing products or resources/business tools to get you started in your business. As with ANY business you look at, DO check them out with the BBB (better business bureau) for legitimacy, ratings, complaints and praises, etc. Get the book "The Business School" by Robert Kiyosaki and read about his cash flow quadrant and other ideas/suggestions about how to make it in your business. Zig Ziggler’s "Over the Top" is another excellent book as well!

Reply:I know that there are plenty of data entry jobs in India. If you are from US, a lot of phone and computer related jobs went to India. Be careful with those online jobs which could be a fraud. Good luck.
